CREATIVITY

Turtle woman watches
space upon space
providing room
for her stories.
Like the garden she tends
her words grow.
A profusion of peonies blooms.

Who is Turtle Woman?  What does she look like?  What story does she have to tell you?  Is there a Wolf Man?  Can you write a poem about his story?  Have fun writing.

  1. I collect storyteller figures. This reminds me of them. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Yes, Rosi,
I was thinking of a Native American storyteller. I'd like to know more about your collection.

    2. I was also thinking about the interdependence of the ants and the peonies.

  2. My mind jumped to outer space when I read this. ANd then I corrected myself. But then again, Turtle Woman could be a space creature, right? I like the juxtaposition of a Wolf Man.... A Cow Child... who knows what else?
