RAINBOW RIDING
I've hitched a ride
on a rainbow.
We're bucking high
and diving low.
I'm seeing all colors
in vibrant hues.
Would you like
to hop on
and hitch
a ride too?
Use your imagination. What is something you might like to have a ride on? A dragonfly, a snail? A flying pizza? An octopus who could take seven of your friends with him? What would the ride be like? Have fun thinking about all of the possibilities for poems and have fun writing.
