Welcome
This is my playground for poetry written for children with ideas and inspiration for writing your own poems. Come on in. Sit for a spell, have a cup of words to swirl around and make your own cup of poetry. I'm so glad you are here. I hope you'll find the Kingdom of Poetry a fun place to be.

SNIFF, SNIFF
A short
breath in
through
you nose,
then do it
again.
We often sniff when we want to smell things. What smells do you like? The sense of smell is the first sense that develops. Can you write a poem today about smells you like, or try writing about all the smells you don't like to smell.

Joy,
ReplyDeleteThis pig made me chuckle. Is the ballet pig hoping to receive flowers to sniff following her performance? I smell a story here!
it could be a fun story, Linda. But for a little while longer I'm sticking with these short poems about noises and sounds babies can make with their faces.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great Christmas.
