Springtime,
I gather to me
happiness of bird song,
joy of coyote yip,
gladness of green,
and all the greatness
of yellow blooming.
I open my heart wide
to the hope for a bright
and jubilant future--
a fresh and new
beginning.
Use your five senses today to make a list of things you see, hear, smell feel and taste about spring. Can you use your list to write your own poem? Have fun.
Nice springy poem. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome, Rosi. thank you for reading my little poems--and for leaving a comment. I know it isn't easy.
ReplyDeleteHi Joy,
ReplyDeleteThis reflects your poetic adventures: you gather experiences, write about them, and then you open up wide for your readers' delight.
