WILD!

Wind roars
water rains
desert dances
a wild refrain.

Today's poem is a tribute to Irene Latham who is celebrating a 10 year blogaversary.  She's having a party and invited us all to write poems about wild.  Can you try writing a WILD poem today?  Have fun,
You can visit her party to find other wild tribute poems at Irene's blog here

Celebrate, even the rain.

    1. Thank you. Even with a cast on, I'm getting better at controlling that paint brush. I'll be so glad when I can get back to real painting. Of course, then I won't have an excuse for my feeble attempts.

    1. Hoe all is going well with you. I thought of you yesterday as a butterfly took a walk with me. I enjoy your walks.

    1. Thanks for your kind words. I'm healing soooo slowly. I'm ready to be done with this cast and I'm not even half way there. And I'd love to be off the pain meds, but I still need them. I should count my blessings, at least I'm not bed ridden. And, it is a beautiful, warm, sunny day in Tucson.

    1. Thank you, Jama. I thought of you yesterday as I packed some of my antique dishes to move. Was it hard to pack to leave Hawaii?

  6. Joy! That painting is GORGEOUS. My son loves the rain -- I can't wait to show him your perfect celebratory poem. It's on my bucket list to see a desert in spring. Your painting makes me feel like I have! Thank you so much for sharing in the day! xo

    1. We do get some spectacular lightning storms around here if you come during monsoon season. If you want to hit our spring you'll need to come late February. Thanks for your kind words about my painting.

    1. Hey Donna,
Thank you for liking my poem. When writing short poems, one has to be especially careful with word choice. I was pleased with how this one turned out. I was a surprise to me. The picture came first on this one.

    1. Thanks, Catherine. My art is somewhat stalled while my hand is in a cast.
