BIRD TRILLS

Winter is coming.
The birds all trill.
Snowflakes will fall
to give us a thrill.

The geese all gather,
fly south through the sky.
Why do I feel sad to say,
"Good Bye?"

Happy December, the last month of the year.  What is your favorite month?  Why?  Each month has something special about it. Can you write a poem today about your favorite month?  Have fun writing.

  1. Dear Joy,
I believe it's a natural emotion to feel a little sad when saying "goodbye."

May your "hello" to your new animals and environment in Hawaii fill your heart with joy!

    Love, Joan

    1. Life has ups and downs. Today I'm celebrating having my cast off. It is exciting all the things I can do without it.

  2. Ditto what Joan said. Joy will follow you. It may not be in animal form, but joy will follow you. You take it with you wherever you go! And it's more than your name! :)
