El Sol-The Sun

The sun shines
                            on a tree.
The sun shines
                            on the bee.

The sun shines
                            on the sea.
The sun shines
                            on me.

They say,
                            it seldom rains.

When the sun shines
                            I feel fine
When the sun shines.

This is another poem than can be read in two voices.  Can you write your own poem today about the sun or the rain.  Yesterday I read that to be happy one needed to learn to dance in the rain.  What do you like to do in the sun?  In the rain?

  1. Summer Reading Days

    #1--I like sun.
    #2--I like rain.

    #1--Lazy Dog Days of summer.
    #2--Socked in with thunderstorms.

    #1--straddling a tree branch
    #2--snuggled under a cozy blanket.

#1--laughing out loud at the latest jokes
#2--cowering from ghosts in old tales.

    #1--Tell me about yours
#2--Only if you tell me about yours.

    #1--Summer reading can't be beat.
    #2--But we wouldn't even try.
