Welcome
This is my playground for poetry written for children with ideas and inspiration for writing your own poems. Come on in. Sit for a spell, have a cup of words to swirl around and make your own cup of poetry. I'm so glad you are here. I hope you'll find the Kingdom of Poetry a fun place to be.

Walk Along the Beach
Walk along the beach,
feel sand between your toes,
watch a fiery sunset,
see the world turn to rose.
Smell plumeria scent
from a Hawaiian lei.
Learn to live aloha,
take the time to play.
I'm obviously still thinking about leis. I talked to some people in Minnesota that had snow this morning. So I thought I'd send you some sunshine and flowers. Enjoy today.

I prefer no snow this late into spring. How about you?
ReplyDeleteWe had snow May 1st; it's all gone now! What a weather time! I'm going to the beach this summer Joy, so loved your 'sand between the toes'! I can just feel it already!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda for dropping by. Where do you go to the beach? Is the water warm enough to go swimming?
