BEDTIME STORIES

Mom reads to me at bedtime
from my favorite book
about Horton the elephant
who hatched an egg
and how funny
that baby bird looks.

Does your mom or dad read to you at bedtime?  What is your favorite story?  Every child should have the right to be read to before bed and to have a favorite bedtime story.  Can you write a poem today about your favorite bedtime story?  Or make up your own story.

    1. I like the "idea" of this one, but I need to shake it up a little and do some more work. What was your favorite bed time story?

  2. Curious George was a big hit with my boys. I don't remember my mom reading bedtime stories, but she listened to us say our prayers every night. She read to us from books during summer days off. A chapter or two at a time. I loved it.
