Welcome

This is my playground for poetry written for children with ideas and inspiration for writing your own poems. Come on in. Sit for a spell, have a cup of words to swirl around and make your own cup of poetry. I'm so glad you are here. I hope you'll find the Kingdom of Poetry a fun place to be.

GRATITUDE

Mahalo
floats across
my tongue
a blessing
a prayer
of gratitude
in appreciation
of you.

Mahalo means thank you in Hawaiian.  I'm grateful you read my blog and let me share my poetry with you.  What are you thankful for?  Can you write a poem about that today?

Writing children's poetry can make you happy.

  1. Joy,
I'm thankful for people who love me even in my worst moments.

    1. Oh, Linda. I'll still be your friend, even in those worst moments. I do have a hard time thinking of when you'd have a worst moment.
I'm visualizing a great week for you.
