haiku

chilling morning wind
blows white seeds from the broom sage
lacy snow flakes drift

This morning's walk was lovely.  It seemed like everyone was smiling at me, but maybe that was because I was smiling.  I don't know why I was feeling so good, except it is the start of a new month and December really is a lovely month.  I see my name everywhere.  Maybe that is why I like December so much.  It is a season of giving and surprises.  I've started planning some of mine.  Your challenge for today is to write a December poem.  How about a list of all the things you want to do this month?  Have fun.

  1. I love it when we compare things to drifts of snowflakes. I see this when autumn leaves separate from trees.

Keep smiling. The world will continue to smile back.
