Welcome

This is my playground for poetry written for children with ideas and inspiration for writing your own poems. Come on in. Sit for a spell, have a cup of words to swirl around and make your own cup of poetry. I'm so glad you are here. I hope you'll find the Kingdom of Poetry a fun place to be.

the snake leaves his skin
across the sandy desert--

Happy Saturday.  Can you find time today to write a haiku.  Pick any topic you choose. Have fun.

Breathe.  Remember to breathe.  It is a great way to relax.

    2. Hey Linda,
Did you know that the game of Chutes and Ladders is called Snakes and Ladders in England? The history of the game is interesting. Goes way back and was used to teach a moral lesson about good and evil.
