DOVES

Maddening dove calls
coo-cooing-cooing-cooing
Squab for dinner.

  1. Joy,
The sounds in this are fun...coo-cooing-cooing-cooing and squab. How could you not like saying 'squab?' It gives your mouth a work out.

    1. Do you think there is a relationship between the cooing of the squab and the verb squabbling? Or a quarrel being a squabble? I can see this is going to generate another poem. Thanks.
