A DOCTOR VISIT

I'm going to see the doctor today.
My appointment is at 9 on the dot.
I'm going to see the doctor today.
Mom says I am feeling hot.
I'm going to see the doctor today.
I hope he'll know what I've got.
I'm going to see the doctor today.
I hope I won't need a shot.

Since this poem uses anaphora, repetition of a line, it is an easy poem to recite with two voices.  Can you write your own poem using anaphora today?  Have fun writing.

  2. Very cute poem, Joy. Kids will love this. I hope you're submitting it. I can think of a couple magazines that would like it.
