Welcome

This is my playground for poetry written for children with ideas and inspiration for writing your own poems. Come on in. Sit for a spell, have a cup of words to swirl around and make your own cup of poetry. I'm so glad you are here. I hope you'll find the Kingdom of Poetry a fun place to be.

STONE WALL VIDEO

Rats! Rats! Rats!
Not the furry kind,
the frustrated kind.

I have a video
I want to share
but I can't seem
to figure out
how to put it here.

And so I think
if I dare, I'll ask you
to  detour to where
(clink on the word where)
you'll see a short video
(one minute, twenty seconds.)
I hope will give cheer.

Thank you.  Today is Poetry Friday and Liz Steinglass is hosting the poetry party.  You can find more poetry posts at http://elizabethsteinglass.com/2016/02/process/

Why am I always running out of time?  Do you?  Can you write a poem today about all the things you never seem to have enough time for?

Is life ever long enough to get the things you need to do done?

  1. I assume you mean those ladies with the purple hair. Have you gone purple, Joy? I've seen it on TV, very cute.

    1. Nope, I haven't tried the purple hair yet. I tried dark blue once, but I was never happy with that. The color was too dark and I lent the wig to a young student and it never made it's way home. So I stay away from dark colors. I still have and use the hot pink and the lime greem wigs. ;-)

    1. Thanks, Linda.
I put a lot of time and energy into learning how to make and EDIT this video and I was miffed at myself when I couldn't figure out how to transfer it to my blog. I could get it loaded to facebook but not my blog.
