MARSHMALLOWS

Campfire
flickers
leaps
glows
great for
roasting
marshmallows.

I have plans for turning this spine poem into another concrete poem.  Can you guess what I'm going to do?  If you read this poem from the bottom up, does it change the meaning?  Happy Saturday.  Have fun writing your own poem about a summer activity.

  1. Joy,
Perfect chant for marshmallow roasts. How many times can you repeat this poem before the marshmallow is golden brown or when being timed? How many times can you repeat it before getting tongue tied? Other game variations could surely be played.

    1. Linda,
Wouldn't a nice golden roasted marshmallow taste wonderful about now? I think a marching game would be in order since I keep misspelling marshmallow as marchmellow.
