My little kitten
furry and black,
went out last night
and didn't come back.
Perhaps some witch
has taken her,
her shiny coat
her rumbly purr.
I hope to find her
by the light of the moon
on Halloween night
on that witch's broom.
Are you ready? Obviously, I'm running late. My last art class is tomorrow and I'm still busy with homework. I should have started earlier. Have a great holiday.
Joy,
ReplyDeleteWas this make-believe? If not, I hope the kitty returned, safe and sound.

Hey Linda,
ReplyDeleteDo you know how some people are dog people and some are cat people? Well, my husband doesn't like cats, so there isn't one at my house. Although, I did grow up with cats. My favorite was Siammee( a Siamese, of course) a good friend who let me dress him up in my doll clothes, put the baby bonnets on him and would sit in my doll buggy to go for rides. He also was very good about letting me carry him along when I went roller skating.
He had a wonderful, deep, rumbly purr to keep me company whenever I felt lonely, or got my feelings hurt.
