Welcome

This is my playground for poetry written for children with ideas and inspiration for writing your own poems. Come on in. Sit for a spell, have a cup of words to swirl around and make your own cup of poetry. I'm so glad you are here. I hope you'll find the Kingdom of Poetry a fun place to be.

SPOOKY NIGHT

In the dark night of Halloween
clouds are drifting
sky so
dull,
over water
a sea
gull
carries in his
claws a
skull.

Here is another zeno that Arlene Sikkink and Lee Chutkow helped to write in our poetry workshop at Santa Catalina Villas.  I think I've now got them addicted to writing zenos too.  Can you try writing a zeno today?  Have fun.
