Palms in the Wind

Tropical
palm
leaves
bend 
in the wind
like
hands
coming
together
to
pray.
Please,
save us
from
hurricanes.

    Joy,

    This use of figurative language is great. I don't live near palms but it is an image I'll remember. Thanks for the prayer poem.
