Grandma Asks

What would you like for Christmas?
My grandma asked of me.
I didn't know what to tell her,
or what my present should be.

I don't need another dolly,
I all ready have a bike.
So, I just shrugged my shoulders
and said, whatever you like.

Do you have a Christmas list?  Today, can you write a list poem about what you want for Christmas, or about the presents you are giving?  Have fun thinking.

  1. Wonder what grandma buys. This granddaughter left herself wide open.

    1. Good Question Linda.
And here I was thinking the speaker of the poem would be asking for world peace, an end to hunger in the world, to have every person have clean water to drink and clean clothes to wear, and that children every where could go to school without fear and have good books to read.
